The John Wheaton Legacy Foundation was established to support young dancers who need a helping hand. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to pursue their passion, regardless of financial circumstances.

What We Do

How We Help

Our foundation supports young dancers through direct financial assistance and community programs.

Funding for Dancers in Need

We provide financial support to dance students when they need it most.

Dance

Funds can be used for dance-related costs.

Open to All Youth

Any young person below age 18 at time of application is eligible to apply.

Short Essay Application

Applicants write a brief essay including their name, age, and purpose of the requested funds.

Up to $250 Per Request

Each applicant is eligible for up to $250.00 per request, or $500.00 per calendar year.

Direct to Providers

When possible, funds go directly to dance studios, instructors, event directors or shoe vendors.

Youth Socials

Upon request, we may also sponsor youth socials such as pizza parties, group lessons, or other activities.
